The GBU School of Management offers Ph D programme in following research areas:

• Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship

The Ph D programme is structured in two phases. Phase one includes Course Work (pre-doctoral) and phase two includes the research work. The candidates will be required to complete course work equivalent to 8-12 credits or more as decided by the concerned School of the University before applying for approval of the Research Proposal by the Research Degree Committee (RDC). The minimum duration for submitting the thesis will not be less than two years and the maximum period will not exceed five years from the date of approval of RDC. As decided by the competent authority of the University from time to time. The current academic fee is Rs. 10,000/- per semester.

A candidate who, in addition to other eligibility norms, posses a Masters’ degree in concerned discipline (as decided by concerned School) with minimum 55% aggregate marks (50% in case of SC/ST) from any University/ Institution established by law may apply for admission to the PhD programme. The candidate shall have to take a written test followed by the personal interview as notified every year.
