Welcome to the School of Law, Justice & Governance!

The School is a place for those who want to think about law and its interaction with justice and governance. Our faculty brings to the School a diversity of experience and potential, and is scheduled to begin BA LLB teaching from more than fifty classroom and clinical courses in July 2012. Many more optional courses will be available in due course.

Learning a social science law must involve the student in serving the society through law. As part of the extension of clinical legal education, the School therefore plans to involve its students in the activities of its Legal Aid Centre. The students will also have the possibility of engaging in and publishing their own research and scholarly contributing to the School’s planned journal, Journal of Law, Justice & Governance.

Established in 2011 at a 40 minutes’ drive from the heart of the capital of India, the School is one of the eight schools of the University established as a centre of excellence with a state of the art infrastructure. The School has also announced its PhD programme and planned to introduce its Master’s in law.

We look forward to hearing from you.
